DETAILED RULES FOR RUBY RADIO CONTESTS

Name of Contest: Italy

Date winner is to be announced: November 5, 2018

 

  1. All Generic Contest Rules apply.  Any discrepancies are superseded by the Detailed Rules for Italy!

  2. How to Enter the Contest:
    • The Italy promotion begins October 1, 2018 and ends November 2, 2018, 6PM.  To participate in the contest, an on-air “sounder” on KHIX, KZBi, KBGZ, Z107.7, 100.5 True County, and Coyote 101.1 will be the cue to call.  The ninth caller of each contest will qualify to win the Grand Prize.
    • Each qualifier wins the opportunity to enter the drawing for the Grand Prize, a one-week trip for two to Italy, hotel stay and return.

  3. Eligibility Restrictions:
    • The contest is open to on KHIX, KZBi, KBGZ, Z107.7, 100.5 True County, and Coyote 101.1.  Listeners who are 21 years or older and reside in the immediate listening area.
    • Listeners are eligible to win a contest sponsored by Ruby Radio only once every 30 days.
    • Only one winner per household is permitted in any contest.

  4. Prizes:
    • Up to three winners each day, Monday thru Saturday, call the station after the cue to call to qualify for the Grand Prize.  At it's discretion, and at any time without prior announcement, Ruby Radio may choose to increase the number of contests, and therefore the number of people qualified to enter the drawing.
    • The Grand Prize winner wins:
      • Trip for 2 adults for a one week trip to Italy. Departure and return travel from Salt Lake City, Utah during the month of March, 2019. Prize includes round trip air travel for two persons, hotel accommodations and train tour of select destinations in Italy.

      • If the winner cannot make the trip, the prize will be forfeited, and no substitution will be offered.
    • Grand prize is valued at approximately $4,500.
      • Any changes in the itinerary by the contest winner will be paid by the winner.
    • All prize information is sent to winner after station is in receipt of applicable release forms and winner information. The winner forfeits any prize or prize certificate not claimed within 5 days of winning.
    • For contests with multiple prizes, the winner accepts all prizes listed as one package. 

  5. Selection of Winners:
    1. Each day winners are chosen after calling the radio station on a designated phone line, following the cue to call. The specified caller is selected as the winner of the contest.  The Grand Prize winner is selected from a random drawing of all daily winners.
    2. The grand prize winner will be announced on air or notified by telephone or mail.
    3. If the Grand Prize winner cannot be contacted within 5 business days after the prize is awarded, an alternate winner will be selected.

  6. Conditions:
    1. Payment of all federal, state and local taxes is the sole responsibility of the winner. The Grand Prize winner is required to provide name, social security number, address, and may be required to sign an IRS Form W-9 or the equivalent.
    2. Travel arrangements are made by Journeys Around the World Travel.  Contact is Suzanne Bradford, 775-781-9573. 
    3. By participating in the contest, the winner or winners (and their guest or traveling companion, if any) agree to have their picture, name, voice, or likeness used in any advertising, social media or broadcasting material relating to this contest without additional financial or other compensation, and to sign a publicity release prior to acceptance of the prize.
    4. Contest winners (and their guests or travel companions, if any) will be required to sign a liability release prior to acceptance of any prize or which prize includes the provision of transportation, whether or not such transportation is provided by Ruby Radio Corporation.

  7. Ruby Radio Corporation reserves the right to make changes in the rules of the contest, including the substitution of a prize or prizes of equivalent or greater value, which will become effective upon announcement.
  8. No purchase is necessary. The contest is void where prohibited.
  9. Failure to comply with the contest rules may result in a contestant's disqualification, at the sole discretion of Ruby Radio.
  10. Ruby Radio Corporation is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the contest or in the announcement of a prize.
  11. Copies of the written contest rules are available during regular business hours at the main office of Ruby Radio Corporation, 1750 Manzanita Drive, Suite 1, Elko, Nevada 89801 or by sending a self-addressed stamped envelope to Ruby Radio Corporation.
  12. This is a "Shared contest."  All six of Ruby Radio Corporation's radio stations, KHIX, KZBi, KBGZ, KBGZ-HD2 (Z107.7) and KBGZ-HD3 (Coyote-FM) and KBGZ-HD4 (100.5 True Country) will participate.
